MDMED has long supported Korea's dental chair and surgical table industry — a manufacturer of hydraulic systems (pumps, solenoid valves, cylinders) and dental apparatus (3-way syringes, HVE, saliva-ejectors). Many Korean dental chair makers build on MDMED components. That trust has taken decades to earn.
MDX is MDMED's compressor and vacuum pump arm. We carry the parent group's precision-machining and quality-control discipline: units are inspected on dedicated measuring equipment and serial-tracked, built on a balance of automated lines and skilled manual work.
ANY AIR 2 puts that capability into a piston-type dental compressor. In Korea, MDX is essentially the only maker of articulated-piston dental compressors built in-house. With the AnyVac40 vacuum pump, it's our Korean alternative to the European compressor majors.
Most clinics buy rocking-piston compressors for the low sticker price alone. But as breakdowns and repairs pile up, those early savings quickly disappear. Here's the same machine — viewed through total cost of ownership, not the spec sheet.
* TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) — the real lifetime cost of a machine: purchase price plus maintenance, repairs, and downtime.
AnyAir2 is built on 30+ years of MDMED precision machining.
The piston is driven by a connecting rod and travels strictly vertically. Lateral wear — the failure mode that kills rocking pistons — is engineered out. External-fan air cools the head twice on its way through: once over the casing, once through the cylinder chamber.
Compressed air ends up in the patient's mouth via the handpiece and 3-way syringe. Every breath through the system passes through three stages — intake debris, HEPA, then ULPA 16 — inside a precision centrifugal separator. No silica gel to manage.
Steel tanks rust. Aluminum is better. SUS304 is the right answer for medical air — corrosion-immune, food-grade, decades of life. Paired with a dual solenoid drain system that actively pulls moisture out during AND after every cycle.
The best dryer is membrane — and the most expensive. So many compressors use silica gel, which performs well by adsorption — until it saturates. Once saturated, dew point rises and water vapor passes straight through. Worse, if the desiccant isn't replaced on schedule the granules cake into powder that clogs solenoid valves and can eventually reach the compressor head itself.
AnyAir2 takes a different route. A centrifugal separator removes droplet moisture — nothing to replace, nothing to clog. Because separators work on droplets rather than vapor, a small amount of residual moisture still condenses inside the tank as pressure and temperature shift. So two solenoid valves run in opposite directions to handle it: one drains continuously while the compressor runs, the other when it stops. The tank stays light on water even when Friday's drain check gets skipped — and the SUS304 stainless tank doesn't rust regardless.
Normally-closed valve at the tank base activates during operation — actively pushing condensate out as it forms.
Normally-open valve at the dryer opens when the head stops — releasing moisture captured by the centrifugal separator.
